Dublin Fingal East is aDáil constituency represented inDáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament orOireachtas, since the2024 general election. Established through theElectoral (Amendment) Act 2023, the constituency elects three deputies (Teachtaí Dála, commonly known as TDs) on the system ofproportional representation by means of thesingle transferable vote (PR-STV).
The 2023 report of theElectoral Commission recommended that at thenext general election, the five-seat constituency ofDublin Fingal be divided into two new three-seat constituencies of Dublin Fingal East andDublin Fingal West.[1]
TheElectoral (Amendment) Act 2023 defines the constituency as:[2]
"In the county ofFingal theelectoral divisions of:
- Donabate, Kinsaley, Malahide East, Malahide West, Portmarnock North, Portmarnock South, Swords-Forrest, Swords-Glasmore, Swords-Lissenhall, Swords-Seatown, Swords Village"
