Dragon's Dogma[3][4] is an American-Japanesedark fantasyoriginal net animation (ONA) series based on the 2012video game of the same name byCapcom. Directed by Shinya Sugai, the series was released viaNetflix on September 17, 2020.[5]
The series is animated by Sublimation.[5] Shinya Sugai serves as director while he, Taiki Sakurai, Takashi Kitahara, andHiroyuki Kobayashi serve as executive producers.[5] Kurasumi Sunayama is the writer of the scripts while Kaoru Nishimura is designer of characters.[7][5] Original game composer Tadayoshi Makino serves as the show's composer.[7] The series consists of seven episodes.[1]

In a positive review,IGN's David Jagneaux wrote, "It's not the best video game adaptation ever...but it's a good debut that has room for growth with (hopefully) future seasons."[10]Writing forThe A.V.
