Dragan Bošnjak (Serbian Cyrillic:Драган Бошњак; 19 October 1956 – 27 March 2019) was a Yugoslav and Serbian professionalfootballer who played as amidfielder.[1]
After starting out atSpartak Subotica, Bošnjak joinedVojvodina in 1976. He spent three and a half years with the club and won theMitropa Cup in the 1976–77 season. In the winter of 1980, Bošnjak switched toDinamo Zagreb. He helped them win theYugoslav First League in the1981–82 season, as well as twoYugoslav Cups, in1980 and1983. In 1985, Bošnjak spent half a year atDinamo Vinkovci.
Later on, Bošnjak played professionally in Turkey (Gaziantepspor),[2] Spain (Figueres), and Belgium (Westerlo).[3]
At international level, Bošnjak was a member of theYugoslavia under-21 team that won theUEFA European Under-21 Championship in1978.[4]
Bošnjak died in his hometown of Kanjiža on 27 March 2019.[5][6]
