Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle is a federalelectoral district onMontreal Island inQuebec. It encompasses a portion of Quebec formerly included in the electoral districts ofLaSalle—Émard andNotre-Dame-de-Grâce—Lachine.[2]
Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle was created by the2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order. It came into effect upon the call of the2015 Canadian federal election, which took place October 19, 2015.[3]
The riding was originally intended to be namedDorval—Lachine.[4]
The district includes the municipalities ofDorval andL'Île-Dorval, the borough ofLachine and part of the borough ofLaSalle inMontreal.
