Doridoxidae, commonly known asdoridoxidnudibranchs, are a small, enigmatictaxonomic family of shell-lesssea slugs,marinegastropodmolluscs in the cladeCladobranchia within the cladeNudibranchia.[2]
Doridoxidae is currently the only family in the superfamilyDoridoxoidea, within the cladePseudoeuctenidiacea (= Doridoxida). Molecular evidence shows that it groups with the generaDoridomorpha andHeterodoris and the familyArminidae and close toTritoniidae.[3]
