Dontae Bull (born May 15, 1999) is a Canadian professionalfootballoffensive lineman for theOttawa Redblacks of theCanadian Football League (CFL). He was thefirst overall pick in the2023 CFL Draft.
After using aredshirt year in 2017, Bull playedcollege football for theFresno State Bulldogs from 2018 to 2022.[1] He played in 37 games for the Bulldogs, starting in 33, over the course of his tenure with the team.[2]
Bull was ranked as the seventh best player in theCanadian Football League's Amateur Scouting Bureau final rankings for players eligible in the2023 CFL Draft.[3] He was then drafted with thefirst overall pick by theOttawa Redblacks.[2] After beginning the2023 season on the injured list, he made his professional debut on August 13, 2023, against theToronto Argonauts.[4] He earned his first career start one week later for the August 19 game against theMontreal Alouettes.[5]
