Location

Dongguan railway station (Chinese:东莞站), also known asNew Shilong railway station (新石龙站) is a railway station on theGuangzhou–Shenzhen Railway, located betweenChashan andShilong,Dongguan,Guangdong in China. The station is designed byHe Jingtang, a prominent Chinese architect and professor at theSouth China University of Technology's school of architecture.^[1] It started to operate on January 8, 2014, which replacedShilong railway station for the passenger train services.^[2]

This station has Guangzhou-Shenzhen intercityMultiple unit train (CRH) services and long-distance train services. It also connected withLine 2 of theDongguan Rail Transit.
