Donald Jerome Hodge (born February 25, 1969) is an American former professionalbasketball player.
Born inWashington, D.C., Hodge began his sports career as a stellar athlete atCoolidge High School in and later playedcollege basketball atTemple University. He was selected by theDallas Mavericks in the 2nd round (33rd overall) of the1991 NBA draft and would go on to average 4.7ppg in 5NBA seasons. He played mainly for the Mavericks, where he was a fan favorite[citation needed], but had a stint with theCharlotte Hornets. He later landed inEurope to play with theBelgium-basedPower Wevelgem basketball club.[1]
