Donald BloxhamFRHistS is a Professor of Modern History, specialising ingenocide,war crimes and othermass atrocities studies. He is the editor of theJournal of Holocaust Education.[1]
He completed his undergraduate studies atKeele and postgraduate studies atSouthampton, where he received a PhD in history.[2] He worked as Research Director of the London-based Holocaust Educational Trust. He isRichard Pares Professor of European History at theUniversity of Edinburgh, having previously been lecturer of Twentieth Century History at the university.[3][4]
From 2007 to 2008, he was J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro Senior Scholar-in-Residence at theUnited States Holocaust Memorial Museum.[2]
