Donakonda Airport (ICAO:VODK) is located atDonakonda in the Prakasam district ofAndhra Pradesh, India. It was constructed during theSecond World War by the British to refuel its aircraft.[1] It is owned by theAirports Authority of India and is closed.[citation needed] There have been plans to redevelop the airstrip by the Airports Authority of India, but so far there is no further development.[2]
