Doğanyol (Kurdish:Keferdîz)[2] is a municipality anddistrict ofMalatya Province,Turkey.[3] Its area is 177 km2,[4] and its population is 3,705 (2022).[1] The mayor is Hakan Bay (AKP).
The town is populated byKurds.[5]
Doğanyol has become district in 1990 duringTurgut Özal presidency. Doğanyol is 90 km far away toMalatya city center.
On 24 January 2020 the town was impacted by a magnitude 6.7 earthquake.[6][7]
