Dmitri Sergeyevich Akimov (Russian:Дмитрий Серге́евич Акимов; born 14 September 1980) is a formerRussian former football player.

Career

He last played forFC Dynamo Saint Petersburg. He made his debut in theRussian Premier League in 2000 forFC Zenit St. Petersburg. He was the top scorer in theRussian First Division in 2007, scoring 34 goals. He was also the top scorer in theRussian Second Division, East Zone in 2002 (22 goals) and 2004 (24 goals).
