TheDiwan Mosque (Arabic:مسجد الديوان; also spelledDiouane Mosque) is a mosque inFez, Morocco. It was founded by theAlawi sultanMoulay Slimane during his reign between 1792 and 1822.[1][2] It is located in the center ofFes el-Bali (the old city), on Diwan Street (Rue Diwan), just north ofTala'a Kebira near its eastern end. It is one of the neighbourhoodFriday mosques of the city.[3]
