Divitdar Mehmed Emin Pasha ("Mehmed Emin Pasha the Stenographer"; also known asDivitdar Emin Mehmed Pasha orEmin Mehmed Pasha orMuhammad Pasha Amin; died 1753) was anOttoman statesman who served asgrand vizier of theOttoman Empire from 1750 to 1752.[1] After this, he was exiled toRethymno onCrete for three years.[1]
After returning from exile, he served as the Ottoman governor ofEgypt in 1753.[1] He died either one day (May 1753)[1] or two months (August 1753)[2] inCairo after taking office as governor of Egypt. He was buried near the shrine and tomb ofAl-Shafi‘i.[2]
