TheDirettorio Divisioni Inferiori Nord (Italian forDirectory of Lower Northern Divisions) was an Italianfootball organization during theFascist era.[1] It was created in 1926 on the provision of theViareggio Charter on the ashes of the dissolved and ephemeralLeague of Minor Societies, it was based inGenoa and it had jurisdiction over the championship ofSecond Division ofNorthern Italy, and over the interregional finals ofThird Division. It assigned to its champions a title represented by a tricolor ribbon placed on the players' arms.[2]
It was an authoritarian organization modeled on the regime guidelines, its members being appointed by the president of theFIGC. The first president was Mr. Moraglia.[3] It was dissolved in 1930 under an even more intense centralizing policy.
