Diphenylmethylpiperazine, also known asbenzhydrylpiperazine, is achemical compound andpiperazinederivative. It features apiperazinering with abenzhydryl (diphenylmethyl)group bound to one of thenitrogens.[1][2]Cyclizine, anantihistamine andanticholinergic drug used to treat motion sickness, is the methylated derivative of diphenylmethylpiperazine, and the antihistaminecinnarizine is another derivative. 1-Benzhydrylpiperazine has been described as having "amphetamine-like effects".[3]
