Dinkins is aghost town inBrazos County, in theU.S. state ofTexas.[1] It is located within theBryan-College Station metropolitan area.
Dinkins was located on White Switch Road, which runs north to south betweenFarm to Market Roads 159 and2154, 4 mi (6.4 km) west ofNavasota in southern Brazos County.[2]
In the late 1940s, Dinkins had a school that joined the schools inMillican andAllenfarm.[2] Today, Dinkins is located within theNavasota Independent School District.
