Dieter Lindner (11 June 1939 – 22 December 2024) was a Germanfootballer who played as amidfielder forEintracht Frankfurt,[1] later becoming vice-president.
After winning the1959 German football championship, Lindner played with Eintracht Frankfurt in the1960 European Cup final againstReal Madrid which the Spaniards won 7–3.[2]
In the 1980–81 season Lindner was appointed vice-president of Eintracht Frankfurt.[2] From 5 May to 2 October 1996 he was interim president of the club.[2]
Lindner died on 22 December 2024, at the age of 85.[2]
