"Die for Me" is a song by English singer-songwriterZayn. It was released on 6 February 2026 throughMercury Records s the lead single from his fifth studio album,Konnakol (2026). Swedish singer and songwriterNea wrote the song with producersJordan K. Johnson andStefan Johnson ofthe Monsters & Strangerz,Victor Thell, Isaiah Tejada, James Essien, and Nick Hahn. "Die for Me" is anR&B-inspiredpop song that sees Zayn longing for a lover to stay with him in his times of need.[1] The official music video for the song premiered alongside its release, which sees Zayn in a dystopian world as garbage bins start burning and lightning strikes as he signs: "You said you would die for me / Don't leave me now when I need you the most".[2]

In January 2026, Zayn went on a seven-show residency at theDolby Live atPark MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada, in which he announced he was working on a new album and performed the then-unreleased song after revealing that it would be his next single alongside four other songs fromKonnakol that have yet to be released: "Nusrat", "Used to the Blues", "Fatal", and "Take Turns".[3] On 4 February 2026, he announced the album along with its cover art and release date, in which he also revealed that "Die for Me" would be released two days later.[4]
