Charles Richard Nyers (born October 8, 1934) is an American former professionalfootball player andcollege coach. He played for theBaltimore Colts of theNational Football League (NFL). He played collegiately at Indiana Central (today theUniversity of Indianapolis).[1] Nyers served as the head football coach at his alma mater from 1970 to 1971, compiling a record of 9–11.[2] He was inducted into theIndiana Football Hall of Fame in 2014.[3]
