Richard Alfred Erdlitz (February 16, 1920 – April 3, 2006) was anAmerican footballrunning back in theNational Football League andAll-America Football Conference. He played for thePhiladelphia Eagles in1942 and1945 and for theMiami Seahawks in1946. He playedcollege football andcollege baseball atNorthwestern.
While playingcollege football for theNorthwestern Wildcats, Erdlitz earned All-Western Conference honors.[1] He was invited to play in theCollege All-Star Game as the starting quarterback for the College All-Stars on August 28, 1942.[2]
Erdlitz also playedcollege baseball atNorthwestern.[3]
Erdlitz played for thePhiladelphia Eagles in1942.[1]
