TheDez (Persian:دز), the ancientCoprates[1] (/ˈkɒprətiːz/;[2]Greek:Κοπράτης or Κοπράτας), is a river in Iran. This 400 km long river is a tributary of theKarun River. It is the site of theDez Dam.
