Dewey Willis Selmon (born November 19, 1953) is an American former professionalfootball player who was alinebacker in theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theOklahoma Sooners, forming the defensive line with brothersLucious andLee Roy, among others.
He went on to play in the NFL for theTampa Bay Buccaneers and theSan Diego Chargers.[1]
He earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma. He is a member of the College Academic Hall of Fame.[2]
