Devin Edward Wyman (born August 29, 1973) is an American former professionalfootball player.[1] On March 30, 2015, he was namedhead coach for theTexas Revolution of theChampions Indoor Football (CIF) league.[2][3]

Wyman was born on August 29, 1973, in East Palo Alto, Puebis

Wyman married his wife, Shelby, on July 7, 2007.[4]

NFL career

Wyman was selected in the sixth round (206th overall) of the1996 NFL draft by theNew England Patriots.[5] Playing in 15 games with 4 starts over two seasons with New England, Wyman spent the1998 NFL season oninjured reserve before leaving the team following the season.[6] Prior to the 1999 NFL season, the defensive tackle signed with theMinnesota Vikings and was allocated toNFL Europe to play for theBarcelona Dragons. Not playing with an NFL team again until 2002, Wyman signed with theKansas City Chiefs but was cut prior to the start of the 2002 season.

Collegiate career

Wyman attendedCarlmont High School inBelmont, California, then theCollege of San Mateo inSan Mateo, California, before transferring toKentucky State University, anHBCU.

AFL career

Leaving the NFL, Wyman began his Arena Football League career with theSan Jose SaberCats in 2003. Staying with the team until 2005, Wyman was part of the SaberCats team that wonArenaBowl XVIII. The Kentucky State alum left San Jose for theDallas Desperados in 2006. Wyman left Dallas in 2007 for theUtah Blaze.[7] Following his first season with Utah, Wyman re-signed with the team on August 2, 2008.[8]
