Devan Kaney is an Americansports commentator andradio personality forWIP-FM inPhiladelphia. Kaney currently serves as a co-host on theWIP Morning Show, and also has served as thesideline reporter for the station's broadcasts ofPhiladelphia Eagles games since 2024.

Early life

Kaney grew up inRadnor, Pennsylvania, and attendedRadnor High School.[1] She graduated from theUniversity of Pittsburgh in 2013 with a degree in communication. She graduated fromAmerican University in 2015 with a master's degree in broadcast journalism.

Career

Kaney has served as an analyst and sideline reporter for theNational Lacrosse League, including hosting several special league events. She also spent time as a reporter inChicago and forKBOI-TV inBoise, Idaho.[2] In 2022, Kaney joinedAudacy to become an analyst on the company'sBetQL Network. That same year, she became a contributor onJoe DeCamara andJon Ritchie's show on Audacy-ownedWIP-FM. In 2023, DeCamara and Ritchie's show was moved to the morning drive timeslot, and Kaney was added as a co-host along with DeCamara, Ritchie, Rhea Hughes, James Seltzer, and producer Joe Weachter.[2]

In December 2024, following the departure ofHoward Eskin from WIP, Kaney was named the sideline reporter for the station's broadcasts ofPhiladelphia Eagles games.[3]

Kaney also serves as an in-arena host forPhiladelphia Flyers games atXfinity Mobile Arena.[3]
