TheDetroit Auto Club was aminor league professionalice hockey team, and one of the four founding members of theInternational Hockey League in 1945,[1] and operated until 1951.[2] They played their home games atOlympia Stadium inDetroit,Michigan. The Detroit Auto Club won the inauguralTurner Cup, as playoff champions, beating theDetroit Bright's Goodyears two game to one.[2]
