TheDesulfobulbales are anorder of anaerobicbacteria within the phylumThermodesulfobacteriota.[1] It is the only order in the classDesulfobulbia.[4] The order Desulfobulbales contains several lineages of bacteria capable ofsulfur oxidation.[5][6][7][8]
