Dennis P. Hogan is an American sociologist, currently the Robert E. Turner Distinguished Professor in Population atBrown University,[1] and also a published author.[2] From 1987 to 1995, he was the Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Director of the Population Research Institute,Pennsylvania State University.[1] His highest cited paper is "The impact of social status, family structure, and neighborhood on the fertility of black adolescents" at 1102 times, according toGoogle Scholar as of April 2018[update].[3]
