Denis Metlyuk (born January 30, 1972) is a former Russian professionalice hockey player who played in theRussian Superleague (RSL).[1] Metlyuk was drafted in the second round of the1992 NHL Entry Draft by thePhiladelphia Flyers and played parts of two seasons in North America for theHershey Bears, the Flyers' AHL affiliate at the time.[2] He played 14 seasons in the RSL forHC Lada Togliatti,Ak Bars Kazan,Salavat Yulaev Ufa,HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, andHC Khimik Voskresensk.[1] He is the brother ofFilipp Metlyuk.[1]
