TheConnecticut Democratic State Central Committee (CT Dems) is the affiliate of theDemocratic Party in the state ofConnecticut. Its chair isRoberto L. Alves.[2]
It is the dominant party in the state. Connecticut Democrats control both chambers of thestate legislature, all constitutional state offices, all five of Connecticut's seats in theUnited States House of Representatives, and both of its seats in theUnited States Senate.
