Democratic Alignment (Greek:Δημοκρατική Παράταξη,Dimokratiki Parataxi) is acentristpolitical party in Cyprus.
The party was created after disagreements withDemocratic Party (DIKO) leaderNikolas Papadopoulos with regard to the approach theGreek Cypriot administration should take with regard to working to solve theCyprus problem.[3] The party was admitted into theAlliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) on 18 November 2020[4] and it is a member of theRenew Europe European parliament group.[5]
