Delkos (Ancient Greek:Δέλκως), orDelcus, was a town ofancient Thrace.[1] Under the name of Delcus it was a bishopric and later atitular see, now suppressed, of theRoman Catholic Church.[2] It was later calledDerkos, under which name it again was a bishopric and later a titular see of the Roman Catholic Church.[3] The Orthodox diocese remains extant (seeMetropolis of Derkoi).
Its site is located nearDerkoz inEuropean Turkey.[1][4]
