Dejan "Švaba" Đurđević (Serbian Cyrillic:Дејан Шваба Ђурђевић; born 4 July 1967) is a Serbianfootball manager and former player. He is the manager ofChina U-20.

Playing career

Born inLazarevac, Đurđević started out at his local clubKolubara, before moving toOFK Beograd in the 1989–90 season. He later moved abroad to Sweden and joinedVasalunds IF. In 1998, Đurđević returned toOFK Beograd, spending the next two seasons at the club.

Managerial career

After hanging up his boots, Đurđević started working in the youth system atOFK Beograd. He subsequently took charge of theSerbia U17s and led the team to the2008 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. In December 2008, Đurđević was appointed manager ofČukarički.[1]

In June 2009, Đurđević became manager ofOFK Beograd.[2] He left the club after two and a half years and moved abroad to Uzbekistan, being appointed manager atPakhtakor Tashkent in December 2011.[3]

In October 2012, Đurđević took charge atRadnički Kragujevac. He was released by the club in April 2013, following poor results.[4] In June 2014, Đurđević returned toOFK Beograd.[5]

On 24 February 2023, Đurđević was appointed as new head coach ofChina U-23.[6]

On 27 June 2025, following the leaving of head coachBranko Ivanković,Chinese Football Association appointed Đurđević as the caretaker manager ofChina national football team, to attend the upcoming2025 EAFF E-1 Football Championship.
