DeAundre Alford (born November 5, 1997) is an American professionalfootballcornerback andreturn specialist for theAtlanta Falcons of theNational Football League (NFL). He won the108th Grey Cup with theWinnipeg Blue Bombers as a starter in his first season. He playedcollege football for theTusculum Pioneers.
Alford playedcollege football for theTusculum Pioneers from 2016 to 2019 where he played in 40 games and recorded 140 tackles and 10interceptions.[1] He also had 40 passes defended as a Pioneer, which is a school record.[1]

Following his collegiate career, Alford signed with theWinnipeg Blue Bombers of theCanadian Football League (CFL) on February 10, 2020.[3][4] However, due to theCOVID-19 pandemic, he did not play in 2020 and several of his pro day workouts were canceled.[5]
After completingtraining camp with the Blue Bombers in2021, Alford won a starting job atcornerback and played in his first professional game on August 5, 2021, against theHamilton Tiger-Cats where he recorded six defensive tackles.[6] On September 18, 2021, he recorded his first career interception and first careertouchdown as he picked offEdmonton Elks quarterbackTaylor Cornelius and returned it 20 yards for the score.[7] He finished the game with two tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble and was named the CFL's top performer of the week.[8] He would help the Bombers' league-leading defense to their second consecutiveGrey Cup title as they defeated the Tiger-Cats 33–25.[9]
On January 10, 2022, Alford signed a reserve/future contract with theAtlanta Falcons.[10] On October 2, during a game against theCleveland Browns, he made a game-sealing interception on a pass thrown byJacoby Brissett to win the game 23–20.[11]
On April 7, 2025, Alford re-signed with the Falcons on a one-year deal.[12]
Alford was born inHernando,Mississippi and grew up inGriffin,Georgia.[1]
