TheDebed (Armenian:Դեբեդ) orDebeda (Georgian:დებედა) is a river inArmenia andGeorgia. It also serves as anatural boundary between Armenia and Georgia at the villageSadakhlo, Georgia. The Debed is 176 km (109 mi) long, and has a 4,080 km2 (1,580 sq mi)drainage basin.
The river originates inArmenia and is formed at the confluence of theDzoraget andPambak nearDzoragyugh. It ends in Georgia where it discharges from the left into theKhrami, a tributary of theKura.[1][2]
