Dawda Ceesay (born 25 January 1993) is a Gambian professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder for and captainsBangladesh Premier League clubRahmatganj MFS.

He played forGambia U-17 in the2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup.[4]

Club career

He has been a part of severalBangladesh Premier League clubs since 2014.[5][6]

Churchill Brothers

In January 2018, he joinedi-League sideChurchill Brothers. He scored his first goal ini-League againstIndian Arrows.[7] He joined Mohun Bagan in 2019, on loan from Churchill Brothers, ahead of the Super Cup.[citation needed]

Minerva Punjab

In July 2019, he joinedMinerva Punjab.[8]

Delhi

In 2021, Ceesay joined newly formedMinerva Delhi and appeared in the130th edition ofDurand Cup.[9] He later appeared in the2021 I-League Qualifiers, in which they finished on third position.[10][11]

International career

He was a part ofGambia national under-17 football team which won 2009African U-17 Championship. He scored a goal in the 20th minute againstCameroon U17[12] in the group stage of the tournament. He also played all three group stage matches forGambia in the2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup.[citation needed]
