David Aboro Fitzpatrick (born 10 February 1995) is an Englishfootballer who plays as amidfielder forMetropolitan Police.
Fitzpatrick was brought up inSurbiton and attendedRichard Challoner School inMalden Manor. He had been in the youth system atFulham until 2009, before spells withStaines Town andHampton & Richmond Borough.[2] Having come through the ranks atQPR, Fitzpatrick was signed by AFC Wimbledon on 23 September 2014 byAlan Reeves as part of the club's newly formed under-21 side, after impressing as a trialist.[3] He first appeared as an unused substitute in the 2–0 away loss toWycombe Wanderers on 18 October 2014.[4] He made hisfootball league debut on 28 December 2014, coming on as a 76th-minute substitute againstExeter City which ended in a 4–1 victory for the "Dons".[5] He scored his first goal for Wimbledon in January 2016. Fitzpatrick signed forBarrow on 28 June 2017 on a 1-year deal.
After leaving Barrow, he had spells atDorking Wanderers,Kingstonian andWalton Casuals before signing forSouthern League sideFarnborough in February 2020.[6]
After beginning the 2020–21 campaign with Farnborough, Fitzpatrick made the move toMetropolitan Police in October.[7]
