David Bindman (1940–2025) wasemeritus Durning-Lawrence professor of thehistory of art atUniversity College London and has been a research fellow at theHutchins Center for African & African American Research (formerly W. E. B. Du Bois Research Institute) atHarvard University since 2006. He was the brother of human rights lawyerGeoffrey Bindman.[1]
