David Minton (born 21 July 1984) is an Englishprofessional wrestler . He is most known for his time inWWE , where he performed on itsNXT UK brand under the ring name "Bomber "Dave Mastiff .[ 2]
Professional wrestling career [ edit ] Mastiff debuted in 2002 as Moralez[ 4] [ 5] One Pro Wrestling ,Frontier Wrestling Alliance andWestside Xtreme Wrestling .[ 6]
He held a number of titles on the independents. On 14 September 2013 inLionheart's Pro Wrestling Elite promotion, Mastiff cashed in his contract from winning the Elite Rumble to interrupt a match betweenEl Ligero and PWE World Heavyweight Champion Andy Wild and win the title himself.[ 7] [ 8] Chris Masters for thePCW Heavyweight Championship , which he would hold for 210 days and defend againstAdam Cole ,Nick Aldis ,Samoa Joe ,Bobby Lashley andRoderick Strong before he was defeated bySha Samuels .[ 9]
Mastiff has also worked forInsane Championship Wrestling ,PROGRESS Wrestling ,5 Star Wrestling ,All Star Wrestling ,WhatCulture Pro Wrestling ,Revolution Pro Wrestling ,Over the Top Wrestling and numerous others.[ 6] [ 10] [ 11] [ 12]

Through January 2015, Mastiff worked couple matches onXplosion Samoa Joe .[ 1]
[ edit ] On 11 November 2016, Mastiff defeatedGrado to win the inauguralWOS Championship , however, Mastiff lost the championship to Grado on the same episode.[ 16]
Mastiff made hisWWE debut on 9 June 2018, when he participated in theUnited Kingdom Championship Tournament .[ 17] Kenny Williams , however, was eliminated in the quarter-finals byJoe Coffey .[ 18] [ 19] NXT UK [ 20]
Mastiff, who was yet to be defeated onNXT UK , foughtEddie Dennis to a double disqualification on the 2 January 2019 episode of the show.[ 21] No Disqualification match onNXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool , on 12 January, which Mastiff won.[ 22]
On the 5 June episode ofNXT UK , Mastiff competed in aFatal four-way match againstJoe Coffey ,Jordan Devlin andTravis Banks to determine the #1 contender for theWWE United Kingdom Championship . Banks won the match, as Mastiff suffered his first loss on the show.[ 23] NXT UK , both faced in aLast Man Standing match onNXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff , on 31 August, when Mastiff was defeated.[ 24] [ 25]
On the 30 January 2020 episode ofNXT UK, Mastiff lost a six-man tag team match withMark Andrews andFlash Morgan Webster , against Imperium'sMarcel Barthel ,Fabian Aichner andAlexander Wolfe .[ 26] NXT UK , Mastiff defeatedSaxon Huxley .[ 27]
On 18 August 2022 Mastiff was released from his WWE contract.
On 17 October 2020, Minton announced his marriage.[ 28]
