Dauendorf (French pronunciation:[dauəndɔʁf]) is acommune in theBas-Rhindepartment in theEuropean Collectivity of Alsace, in theGrand Est region ofFrance.[3]

It is the site of the remains ofNeubourg Abbey, a formerCistercian monastery, destroyed during theFrench Revolution.

The commune of Dauendorf is located around 7.5 miles fromHaguenau and around 21.7 miles fromStrasbourg. The riverModer runs through the commune.
