Darrell Babidge is an English operatic baritone and a professor atThe Juilliard School along withWilliam Burden, Amy Burton (soprano), Kevin Short (bass),Elizabeth Bishop, andCynthia Hoffmann.
He holds a degree from theRoyal Northern College of Music and a master's degree from BYU. He also holds a professional degree in vocal performance from theManhattan School of Music.
Babidge has performed with theChattanooga Symphony and Opera,Intermountain Opera and theUtah Festival Opera. He also performed with theMormon Tabernacle Choir in their production ofThe Redeemer. He played the role ofJoseph Smith in BYU's November 2005 performance ofMurray Boren's operaThe Book of Gold.
