Dario Ambrosini (7 March 1918 inCesena - 14 July 1951 inAlbi) was an ItalianGrand Prixmotorcycleroad racer who competed for theBenelli factory racing team. He finished second toBruno Ruffo in the inauguralFIM 250cc world championship in1949. He returned in1950 and claimed the250cc world championship with three victories including one at the1950 Isle of Man TT.[1][2] Ambrosini was killed during official practice for the1951French Grand Prix atAlbi.[3]
