• Dardanus, son ofZeus andElectra, and founder of the city ofDardanus, of the tribe ofDardans.^[1]
• Dardanus, aScythian king, and the father ofIdaea, the wife of KingPhineus.^[2]
• Dardanus, aTrojan warrior who defended the city ofIlium during the city's 10-year siege. He was the son ofBias, son of KingPriam,^[3] and brother ofLaogonus.^[4] Dardanus and his brother were slain by the heroAchilles during the battle. The latter thrust them both from their chariot to the ground, smiting the one with a cast of his spear and the other with his sword in close fight.^[5]
