Daral, also known asdarar, is aFilipino dessertcrêpe rolled into a cylinder and filled with sweetened coconut meat (hinti). It originates from theTausug people of thePhilippines.[1] It is also known asbalolon (literally "wrapped") among theMaranao people.[2] The crêpe wrapper is similar to thelumpia wrapper, except that it uses batter made from unsweetened ground glutinous rice with coconut milk (galapong). The wrap is sometimes flavored withpandan leaves. However, modern versions can use flour.[3]
