Daniel Mesonero Miguel (born 3 September 2005), sometimes known asDani Meso, is a Spanish professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forReal Madrid.
Mesonero is a product of the youth academies of the Spanish clubsMoratalaz,Rayo Vallecano andReal Madrid.[2] On 21 May 2024, he extended his contract with Real Madrid until 2028.[3] In July 2024, he injured hiscruciate ligament while training with the senior Real Madrid team.[4] For the 2025–26 season, he started playing withReal Madrid C, and shortly started playing withReal Madrid Castilla.[5] He debuted with the senior Real Madrid team as a substitute in a 6–1UEFA Champions League win overMonaco on 20 January 2026.[6]
In February 2024, Mesonero was called up to theSpain U19s for a set of friendlies.[7]
