Daniel Avramovski (Macedonian:Даниел Аврамовски; born 20 February 1995) is a Macedonian professionalfootballer who plays as anattacking midfielder forTFF First League clubIğdır.
Born inSkopje,[1] Avramovski played withFK Rabotnički andFK Makedonija Gjorče Petrov in theFirst Macedonian Football League.[2] While with Rabotnički, Avramovski developed a reputation which brought the attention of several European clubs, and in February 2012 was invited to a ten-day trial withLiverpool.[3]
In July 2014 he signed a three-year contract with Serbian sideRed Star Belgrade.[4] On 30 August 2014, Avramovski scored on his debut with Red Star, scoring the only goal in the 1–0 win againstFK Spartak Subotica just ten minutes after coming on as a substitute.[5]
Avramovski was loaned toOFK Beograd,[6] where he made 22 league and 2 cup appearances in the2015–16 season.[2]
In summer 2016, Avramovski returned inRed Star Belgrade, and he was licensed forSecond qualifying round of the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League season. After some injury problems, he failed to play, and spent the rest of a year without any official matches for the club. As he was not licensed for theSerbian SuperLiga already, Avramovski terminated his contract and left the club in December of the same year.[7]
On 20 December 2016, Avramovski moved toSlovenia, and signed a three-and-a-half-year deal withOlimpija Ljubljana.[8]
On the last day of the Serbian summer transfer window, Avramovski signed a one-year loan deal, with the option of buyout, withVojvodina.[9]
On 18 June 2014 he made his debut for theMacedonian national team at the age of 19 in a 2–0 friendly loss against theChinese national team.[10][11]
He was part of the Macedonia squadUEFA Euro 2020. In this competition, he played a group stage match againstUkraine, which ended in a defeat. With a scant record of three losses in three games, eight goals conceded in and only two goals scored, Macedonia was eliminated from the first round.
