Dance4life is a foundation working to raise awareness ofHIV/AIDS.
The organization claims to have raised money for HIV prevention projects in theGlobal South
In May 2006,DJTiësto became the official worldwide ambassador for the dance4life foundation. He recorded a track withMaxi Jazz (ofFaithless) of thesame name. The song peaked for five weeks in the DutchSingles Chart, peaking at number five in Belgium, six in Finland and also charting in the UK and Germany.
In 2009 supermodelDoutzen Kroes became an ambassador. She visited projects in Tanzania, the United States, the Netherlands and Thailand and raised money through auctions.
It was estimated that byWorld AIDS Day 2014, the foundation had created a total of one million agents4change (a young person who has participated in the dance4life "schools4life" and is involved in pushing back HIV and AIDS).[citation needed]
