Damian Ball (born 14 July 1975)[2] is a British formerrugby league footballer and coach.[3]
Ball was the captain atHalifax from 2006.[2] He usually played atloose forward,[2] but could also operate at second row. He signed for Halifax after a six-month sabbatical from the game. His previous clubs wereDewsbury Rams,Hull Kingston Rovers,Rochdale Hornets andYork City Knights.[2]
As well as his part-time involvement in Halifax, he had also held teaching posts at theNorth Halifax Grammar School,Halifax and The Brooksbank School,Elland,West Yorkshire, England.[4]
Damian was also named 2008 assistant coach under new bossMatt Calland.[5]
