TheDalhousie District was a historicdistrict inUpper Canada which existed until 1849. It was created in 1838 fromCarleton County in theBathurst District. Townships from theJohnstown andOttawa districts were added to Carleton County at the same time.

The district town wasBytown, laterOttawa.

In 1849, the district was replaced byCarleton County.
