Dabanas (Ancient Greek:Δαβανάς) was a fortress inOsroene, inhabited duringRoman andByzantine times.[1] It is mentioned byProcopius[2] and was used by the emperorJustinian I.
The remains of the fortress are located near the village ofDöğer, in theDicle district ofDiyarbakır Province, in present-dayTurkey.[1][3]
